September 11, 2011 • A song for a quiet day: "The Sound of Silence"

Paul Simon, possibly my favorite recording artist of all time, sang "The Sound of Silence" at Ground Zero this morning. I met Simon when I was twenty-one, and he still inspires me all these years later. It is a dream of mine to some day write something as powerful as this song.
